The beautiful Tameka Jacobs was born on October 29, 1979 in French Camp, California. Early in her life, Tameka found herself at the center of a child custody case in Stockton, California. Since the age of four months, Tameka had been living in the foster care of Mary Brown however when Ms. Brown attempted to adopt Tameka at the age of four, the San Joaquin County officials ruled that she would be better off in the care of black parents, since Tameka was half black, half white. The courts judgement took hold and a short time later she was removed from the home of Ms. Brown and was adopted by an African American family.
At an early age, Tameka dedicated herself to the art of dance taking up ballet, tap and jazz. As she got a bit older and grew into her body she started enrolling in acting, public speaking and modeling classes. After creating this solid foundation for herself, Tameka ultimately landed a job as a reporter for KYLD94.9, one of San Francisco's top radio stations. Fomr that point her career started to take off and she appeared in music videos, magazines, and commercials which led to her connection with established models in the industry such as Tyra Banks and Iman. These connections ultimately help land Tameka her ongoing role Deal or No Deal.
Despite her incredible success, Tameka remains humble and focused on helping young girls in foster homes and adoption agencies.
